Race 4 -9/30/04 1000 Race Course 3 - 2.87nm The best wind of the day came at about 9am blowing from the SSE at 11knots. Unfortunately by 10 the wind had dropped to about 5 knots out of the SSE leaving behind sloppy wave conditions that made getting to the start line a challenge for some of the boats. The wind did hold in the 6knots range for most of the race and finally improved to about 8 as the heavier boats were finishing.
Race 5 -9/30/04 1300 Race Course 3 - 2.87nm The wind almost stopped just at the race began making the start appear as if it were in slow motion. The wind did come back up to 5 knots but left everyone wishing for more wind.
