Race 6 - 2/12/04 1000 Race Course 3 short - 2.49nm A light wind of the South East at 6 knots provided just enough wind to race. Again Jupiter and Thunder quickly pulled away from the fleet, their light weight giving them the definite advantage in the light winds. The beautiful weather made it a great day to be on the water and the lack of wind did not seem to bother anyone in the fleet.
Race 7 - 2/12/04 13300 Race Course 8 - 5.30nm For the start of the second race the wind increased to 10 knots from the South East building a bit of chop. A close start had the fleet all bunched up with Suhail luffing most of the fleet well to windward. The wind picked up a bit towards the end of the race to 12 knots with gusts to 15 knots making for a great sail. Everyone was finally starting to hit hull speed making for a great sail.
