Fall 2005 Racing Season Fourth Race Day

bulletRace 6 -11/17/05 1000 Race Course 6 -Short - 3.4 nm Variable winds sometimes changing directions 90 degrees and stopping altogether made for slow first race with the fleet thankful to make it back for some well deserved lunch.

bulletRace 7 -11/17/05 1330 Race Course 3 - 5.7 nm This was one of those rare downwind upwind races with the wind at a perfect 10-12 knots out of the Northeast with flat water and the boats moving along nicely.  Towards the end of the race a large thunder storm could be seen and mostly definitely heard approaching from the West.  The fleet luckily finished the race and had the boats back on the mooring and put away in record time.  The rain and hail began to fall just as the racers got into their cars, with perfect timing it seemed.
