Race 3 -9/15/05 1000 Race Course 6 - 6.7 nm A nice 12-15 knot wind at the start continued to build throughout the race peaking around 22 knots towards the end. This posed a real challenge to the fleet which started the race with their light wind sails and had to reduce sail during the race.   Due to the heavy winds the second race of the day was cancelled.
